Fak - fak Regency is one of the districts in West Papua Province, Indonesia. The capital of this district is located in the Fakfak district. Fakfak Regency is located at 131°30' - 138°40' East Longitude and 2°25' - 4° South Latitude and borders: Bintuni Bay to the north, Arafura Sea to the south, Seram Sea and Berau Bay to the west, and Kaimana Regency to the south and east.[6] This district is famous for its nutmeg products, so it is nicknamed "Nutmeg City". Fakfak Regency, located in the southern part of West Papua, is very strategic because it has a relatively shorter connection with Ambon City compared to other cities on the island of Papua.
