Tour Telaga Biru

 Telaga Biru Biak

Samares Biak Blue Lake is a tourist spot located in Sepse village, East Biak sub-district, Biak district. First, we go to Sepse village before Biak City, which takes about two hours. The journey doesn't end there, you have to continue walking for 1 hour 20 minutes to get to Telaga Biru.

According to the beliefs of the Sepse people who live around the lake, the water contains a kind of preservative. Based on the story, the dead branches and stems in it have been there since the time of the Sepse people's ancestors. And these objects do not rot and decompose over time. And it is said that this place was once sacred to the local community.

Samares Blue Lake has clear blue water all the time and is in the middle of the forest. Apart from that, several facilities have been built around Wopersnondi Lake itself. Such as benches for visitors, photo spots, as well as trash cans.

History

Wopersnondi comes from the Biak language which means jumping (Woper) and man (Snon). It is said that in this lake there were many men from the nearest village, Sepse village, who liked to bathe by jumping. So Wopersnondi is interpreted as a man who jumps.

So it's a rush to make a list of when we're going to go to this amazingly cool tourist spot, and of course don't forget to invite your friends to make your adventure in Biak Papua even more exciting. Thank You
